The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Consultant with demonstrable experience with large scale business transformation and change to join our dynamic legal management consultancy. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in developing bespoke and culturally diverse change strategies and implementing effective communication and learning strategies for our clients in the legal industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across a variety of global and offshore law firms, drive organisational transformations, and enhance engagement through strategic initiatives.

Skills and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in psychology, communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications, change management, learning and development, or related roles, within the legal industry or management consulting is preferred.
3. Demonstrated work developing and implementing successful change, communications and learning initiatives.
4. Experience creating digital learning materials (written and video) and delivering engaging training sessions virtually and face to face.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex concepts into clear and compelling messages.
6. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in utilising various communication channels and platforms, including social media, content management systems, email marketing tools, video editing, and intranet platforms.
8. Understanding of the legal industry, including law firm operations, legal technology, and business processes.
9. Familiarity with change management methodologies and the ability to guide clients through organisational transformations.
10. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment.
11. Creative thinking, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude toward identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Curate bespoke, culturally fit and comprehensive change, communication and learning strategies for our clients with their specific goals and objectives in mind.
2. Support clients in delivering compelling and creative communications.
3. Create compelling and impactful written and visual content, including reports, presentations, newsletters, case studies, video animations training, guidance, and website materials.
4. Be able to manage and optimise various communication channels, including internal comms platforms, digital platforms, social media, and email.
5. Conduct research, interviews, and analysis to gather information and insights to support communication strategies and change initiatives.
6. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and a unified brand image for our clients.
7. Assist in developing and delivering client training programs on effective communication techniques, ensuring client teams are equipped with the necessary skills to drive successful change initiatives.
8. Support clients in managing organisational changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, and process improvements, by developing change management plans, facilitating communication, and providing guidance to leaders and employees.
9. Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and change initiatives, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and feedback mechanisms, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging communication technologies, and best practices in change management to provide innovative solutions and insights to clients.
11. Contribute to thought leadership initiatives by conducting research, developing white papers, and delivering presentations on communication and change management topics relevant to the legal industry.

Work Patterns

This is a full-time opportunity. The role can be worked on a flexible basis and a negotiable hourly rate. Our team members work a variety of agile working patterns, both remotely and onsite with our clients as required. Some travel (predominately domestic, but with international opportunities) will be required. Tell us what arrangement works for you and we’ll try to accommodate.
